KRAZY BEAVER™
The “Krazy Beaver Mini Shovel” is Made in the USA! Specifically designed for ATV / UTV / Snow Mobile
- Measures approximately 29 1/4 inches total length. With the D grip removed, the shovel measures approximately 23 inches from the tip of the middle tooth to the end of the fiberglass shaft. Specifically designed to fit ATV, UTV's and snow mobiles. While our 40" shovel has proven its self over the years we have been constantly asked for a shorter shovel for ATV, UTV and snow mobile usage. Small enough to fit in vehicle and duffle bags this shovel is the perfect get out and go. Duffle bags make it easy to store for those winter months of travel and easy to mount on an ATV. In addition to outdoor usage this shovel would be great for digging in confined spaces. Excellent for Camping, Hunting and Off-Road use.
The Head:
- Powder coating used is Cardinal textured black. The great thing about this color is aerosol paint can be ordered to match the color in the event the shovel is used and the powder is scraped off.
- Manufactured using Heavy Duty 13 gauge heat treated tempered steel. Twice as thick as a normal residential shovel.
- Reinforced teeth to prevent bending and breaking.
- Powder coated both inside and out from the head to handle area to prevent rust.
- The “Krazy Beaver Super Shovel” can be used for regular digging and in extreme situations can be used to assist in penetrating Ice and Clay. The “Krazy Beaver Super Shovel” is only available in red at this time.
- Measures 11 1/2” Height X 8 1/2 wide.
The Handle:
- Made of lightweight but extremely strong fiberglass
- Handle is a dark grey/black color. (Graphite in color)
- The head to handle connection has a permanently mounted solid 6” fiberglass reinforcing core to withstand breakage during the most extreme circumstances.
The D-Grip:
- Made of solid Polymer.
- There is no soft rubber on these grips. The reason for the use of the solid Polymer is because soft rubber overtime begins to break down and becomes sticky.
The Lock Pins:
These Tab Lock Pins are awesome! Unlike regular PTO or quick release pins, you can actually use gloves. The “Tab” makes it easy to attach or remove from the shovel. In addition to being easy to use, these pins are easy to find when accidentally dropped in the sand or mud, unlike a two piece pin that has a separate pin and wire.

Shipping times vary from 1 to 4 days on average.
Order Confirmation:
- You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. This means we have authorized your credit card and are preparing your order for shipment.
- As soon as we receive your order, we contact our warehouse to confirm it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
- If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will contact you via email.
- If your item is available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Order Shipment:
- If your order is in stock and your credit card is approved, your order will ship within 1–2 business days.
- Tracking information will be sent within 24 hours to the email provided at checkout.
- All orders require a signature upon delivery.
- We ship daily via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and Freight to the lower 48 states.
- Most orders placed before 1 PM MST ship the same day (some exceptions apply).
- Shipping is included for ground orders to the lower 48 states. AK & HI ship at an additional cost.
- A phone number is required for freight deliveries to schedule an appointment.
- Failure to provide a phone number may delay delivery and may result in storage fees.
- We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
- We do not ship to PO Boxes.
Inspecting Damages:
- Please inspect packaging when your items arrive.
- If your item arrives damaged, email photos to support@modernmetaldetectors.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- Orders canceled after payment are subject to a non-refundable card processing fee of 2.9% to cover payment processor costs.
- If your item is on backorder and you cancel before shipment, the 2.9% processing fee applies.
- If your order has shipped, you will be responsible for the actual return shipping charges. A 15% restocking fee applies to all brands except Schonstedt, which is 25%. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method that you used when placing your order.
Backorders:
- If a product is out of stock, we will notify you immediately with the expected arrival time and available substitutes.
- Arrival times may change due to shipping delays or manufacturing issues.
- You may choose to keep, substitute, or cancel your order if arrival times change.
- Once backorders arrive, they will ship and tracking will be emailed.

Customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs fees, tariffs, or duties. You will be contacted before delivery once the item reaches the United States to arrange payment of applicable fees.

Freight LTL Shipment
If you purchased a large or heavy item (such as a walk-through metal detector), your item will ship freight with lift-gate service.
- The freight dispatcher will call to schedule a delivery appointment.
- You must be present during the delivery window to sign.
- Delivery windows are typically 8 AM–12 PM or 12 PM–4 PM.
- Please ensure your phone number at checkout is correct.
- Do not screen calls until delivery is complete.
- Freight delivery includes one driver and curbside placement only.
- Keep all original packaging and pallets if returning the item.
Freight Damage Procedure:
- Inspect immediately with the driver present.
- Note any damage on the carrier paperwork.
- If unable to inspect immediately, write: "Carton damage, subject to inspection".
- Inspect contents within 48 hours and report damage to the carrier.
- If packaging damage is severe, refuse shipment and notify us immediately.
Carton packaging has excessive damage to the exposed product:
- Refuse shipment
- Sign the carrier paperwork: “Carton damaged and refused.”
- Notify Modern Metal Detectors immediately.
