Products can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are:

Unused & uninstalled

In new, resalable condition

In original packaging

Return Terms

You must notify us within 30 days of delivery.

A 15% restocking fee applies.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping (except defective items).

Refunds go back to the original payment method.

Refunds are issued only after inspection and approval.

Items with opened or missing original packaging

Items that have been installed, used, or are not in new condition

🔄 Return Procedure

✉️ Email support@modernmetaldetectors.com for return authorization.

If approved, we’ll send you return instructions.

We recommend photographing the package before shipping.

Ship the package back (UPS, FedEx Ground, or freight for large items).

Once received & inspected, we’ll notify you of approval/rejection.

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days.
⚠️ If your return arrives damaged, you must file a claim with the carrier.
🇩🇪 Vertex Products – Special Policy
We partner with Vertex (Germany), which has its own return rules due to international customs and import restrictions.

🚫 No Returns on Unopened Units — once shipped, unopened Vertex products cannot be returned.

✅ Defective Devices — covered under the manufacturer’s warranty; we’ll assist you in repair or replacement.

💡 Our Commitment — while buyer’s remorse returns are not possible, all Vertex products are protected against defects.
🛑 Cancellations

Not Shipped (whether charged or not) → Free cancellation, full refund, no fees.

Already Shipped → Standard return procedure applies.
📦 Damaged Merchandise
If your order arrives damaged:

We’ll arrange replacement and re-shipment fees to return the item.

⚙️ Defective Merchandise

Most products include at least a 1-year manufacturer warranty (see product page under “Warranty”).

If you discover a defect, contact us - we’ll assist with parts or replacement at no cost.

📦 Customer is responsible for returning items to the correct warehouse in new condition & original packaging.

🔎 We strongly recommend a sending us the tracking number + purchasing shipping insurance.

🚫 Returns without authorization, after 30 days, or in unacceptable condition may be refused or returned at your expense.

⏳ Inspected returns may take 7–14 business days for processing.

🗑️ Damaged/used items will be held for 30 days before disposal/donation if no instructions are provided.
