Features & Benefits
16 Single Frequency choices!Zero in on the targets you want.
This will provide you with the freedom and accuracy to zero in on certain targets, such as relics in the lower frequency range or coins and jewels that are easier to detect in the higher frequency range. With 6 frequencies functioning concurrently, you are guaranteed to unearth more riches than ever before and even uncover targets in areas you believed to be well-scoured — just like your first 'Nox.
Why it matters: you can pick the frequency that suits the target you are after.
2Simultaneous Multi-Frequency (Multi-IQ)The full spectrum of frequencies, all at once.
Intelligently designed, Simultaneous Multi-Frequency for maximum performance, plus a wide range of single frequencies.
Low frequencies give more depth to large targets, and high frequencies are usually more sensitive to small targets. With Equinox, you can operate across the full spectrum of frequencies simultaneously for maximum results.
"EQUINOX, with Multi-IQ, will obsolete all the traditional VLF detectors that enthusiasts have been using for decades." – Minelab Electronics Pty Ltd.
Why it matters: deep large targets and small targets are both in play on every sweep.
3Find Gold Faster!Specialised gold modes on the higher frequency band.
Similar to the now-discontinued Equinox 800, the 900 features specialized gold modes that zero in on the higher frequency band to capture the gold you cannot miss. The Equinox 700 lacks this specialised gold mode and functions at higher frequencies only when the Multi-Frequency settings are selected. This Equinox is irresistible due to its illuminated display, the vibratory signal in the handle, the searchlight, and compatibility with your previous 'Nox' coils.
Why it matters: dedicated gold modes mean small gold is much harder to miss.
4Fully WaterproofHunt the beach, rivers, streams and lakes.
Equinox 900 is fully submersible, ideal for detecting at the beach and in rivers, streams, and lakes (5 m / 16 feet). Rugged and lightweight construction allows you to enjoy long detecting sessions in any environment.
Why it matters: wet ground and shallow water are no longer off limits.
5Wireless Audio CompatibleHear every signal with no lag.
The Equinox 900 is built for low-latency wireless audio, which is critical when detecting (you don't want lag between signal and sound).
Why it matters: the sound matches the sweep, so you can react to each signal.
6Fast & Accurate Target IDDig less trash and more treasure.
- Rapid response speed: detects targets quickly, even in trashy ground
- Accurate Target ID numbers (0 to 99 scale)
- Better separation of good targets vs. junk
- Powered by Multi-IQ technology (multiple frequencies at once)
Why it matters: spend less time digging trash, identify coins, relics and gold more confidently, and work well in challenging soil and mineralization.
