The Gepard ground penetrating radar uses an omnidirectional unshielded transmission system to reach maximum depths of up to 40 meters deep. The Radar
(Detection and Radio Range) sends a signal to the ground and receives back the signal to detect anomalies on the surface, such as the following:

- Buried pipes, conduits, and cable harnesses

The Gepard ground penetrating radar uses multiple transmission frequency ranges starting at 60 MHz and up to 300 MHz by adjusting its telescopic antennas. In addition, it supports automatic adjustments to optimize your field surveys on specific soil types.
The measured ground-penetrating radar data is transferred directly to an Android tablet. The Android software receives the data via Bluetooth and displays it immediately on the screen.
The software has the ability to integrate a signal with Google Maps, automatic filtering, and note input for later recall of specific scan details. In addition, automatic filtering capabilities are useful for improving your scan results and finding hidden objects and structures more easily. Due to the integrated GPS, all scan positions can be stored together with the scan data.
Android software applications are available in the following languages:

OKM Gepard GPR is not a metal detector. It is a ground-penetrating radar for the detection of underground objects like pipelines, cavities, cables, conduits, tunnels, bunkers, and foundations. The system will not give any sound when scanning a metal object or other underground anomalies.

How well would this work in sand like what you'd find at a beach?
The OKM Gepard GPR is made to find larger objects, like pipelines or tunnels. It will work well at the beach for these type of items. -
do you provide online training or a DVD Training info- how to use it exactly- tech support etc..
