It is bigger than the 9 inch and just a bit heavier.
Received the 11 x13 Deus II coil after having it on order for several weeks. It is such a popular coil that it is on back order everywhere.
The 11 x 13 is quite a change from the 9 inch coil. It sure has a lot more coverage than the 9 inch and I am guessing that the 11 x 13 will be an excellent open field and beach coil.
Did some tests in my test garden and found it to hit a silver quarter at 16 inches where the 9 inch was 14 inches. YMMV as ground conditions and detector adjustments can be a factor in depth. Dimes and pennies were also able to hit just a bit harder by the 11 x 13 coil on the Deus II where the 9 inch was iffy.
Swinging the 11 x 13 requires a bit more effort than the 9 inch. I am thinking that the 9 inch will be easier in the water but on land (beach and open fields) the 13 inch will be my coil of choice. I recommend the 11 x 13 coil so far. Its coverage is so nice and it seems just a bit deeper than the 9 inch.
