Ordering was easy and shipping was very fast. Excellent customer service too. I had questions both before and after my purchase. Both times my questions were answered quickly.
I assembled and charged the battery in my Minelab Equinox 800. I then commenced to detect in my backyard. I think I was able to find all the junk they buried when building my house. Having cleared the backyard, I then went to a local park. In a little less than an hour I had found three quarters and three pennies (success). I had also purchased a Minelab pro find 40 pin pointer. The pin pointer was a real time saver in helping to locate the coins. I highly recommend purchasing a pin pointer. It is a newer park so, none of the coins were very old.

Nothing has changed since my last review of Modern Metal Detectors. Their service and attention to me as a customer is outstanding. My last purchase which was last week is a Fisher F75 detector and it's a very good machine. I'd say every bit as good as some more expensive detectors out there.
My latest finds with it are a tombac coat button and a 1773 Virginia half penny on a farm I detect on a pretty regular basis along with my own farm that dates to the late 1700's where I find buttons, coins and my favorite find, a 6-pound iron cannon ball. I haven't used the Fisher here on my farm, but I will when time allows.

Super detector, better than my 800. And lots of nice goodies included in the deal. Modern metal detecters rocks!!

My GPX 6000 arrived today. It was packed very well, and I had no issues putting the unit together. I am charging the battery now and will test the unit later. I have three other Minelab detectors a GP 3500, E-Tract. and a Equ Nox 800. I do a variety of detecting with these units. I also have a Fisher Gold Bug but like the Mine Lab the best

I ordered the Manticore on Saturday night, on Wednesday (4 days later) it was at my door. The next day I was at a local park in an area that I've worked over 5 times with my Equinox 800 (been detecting since 1970) and I found 5 coins plus some trash--hot machine. Oh yes, I was at the park for only 1 hour. Going out tomorrow (Tuesday) for a full day at a site with some history. Happy?, great service? Yes.
