My brand new unit to me and the market has arrived. I was concerned after the 3rd month the units would be held back again for final production updates but it arrived exactly as Modern Metal Detectors messaged me. Communication was top notch and delivery time spot on. Thank you again.

Nothing has changed since my last review of Modern Metal Detectors. Their service and attention to me as a customer is outstanding. My last purchase which was last week is a Fisher F75 detector and it's a very good machine. I'd say every bit as good as some more expensive detectors out there.
My latest finds with it are a tombac coat button and a 1773 Virginia half penny on a farm I detect on a pretty regular basis along with my own farm that dates to the late 1700's where I find buttons, coins and my favorite find, a 6-pound iron cannon ball. I haven't used the Fisher here on my farm, but I will when time allows.

Super detector, better than my 800. And lots of nice goodies included in the deal. Modern metal detecters rocks!!

My GPX 6000 arrived today. It was packed very well, and I had no issues putting the unit together. I am charging the battery now and will test the unit later. I have three other Minelab detectors a GP 3500, E-Tract. and a Equ Nox 800. I do a variety of detecting with these units. I also have a Fisher Gold Bug but like the Mine Lab the best

I ordered the Manticore on Saturday night, on Wednesday (4 days later) it was at my door. The next day I was at a local park in an area that I've worked over 5 times with my Equinox 800 (been detecting since 1970) and I found 5 coins plus some trash--hot machine. Oh yes, I was at the park for only 1 hour. Going out tomorrow (Tuesday) for a full day at a site with some history. Happy?, great service? Yes.

My new Minelab Manticore arrived on time and exactly as ordered with the three additional free gifts. I must admit, it is somewhat complicated piece of electronic equipment and there is a learning curve, especially for a newby like me. I went straight out to my backyard and turned it on. I got a lot of false positive readings so decided to slow down and read the instructions and watch a few videos on operating it. I made a few adjustments and headed back out to my back yard. Within seconds I had a hit at 5" depth and retrived an old quarter. Two minutes later I had another hit again at about 5-6 inches and retrived another old quarter. Ten minutes later I had my third hit, a mangled old penny at a depth of 7". I had no idea my backyard had coins buried in it! I can't wait to hit the beaches this weekend.
