I purchased Ace 400 to locate the survey pins in my yard because a neighbor was attempting to encroach over the line. Mission accomplished. The Ace 400 easily located the pins and it was my first time ever using a metal detector. Last week after watching several videos I ordered a Garrett Pro Pointer as I saw in the videos that it makes the final pinpointing much easier. It should arrive in the next day or two and look forward to trying it out.
Modern Metal Detectors answered my email questions very quickly regarding the Pro Pointers which aided my purchase. I would say Modern Metal Detectors is my go to source. I could see myself upgrading to a Minelab product in the future.
